About Wailani Shave Ice

Wailani began in May 2021 as a small mobile shave ice truck at Stewart Park in Roseburg, Oregon. It quickly became a local favorite, leading to a year-round shop in 2022 and the Island Grindz food truck in 2023, serving Hawaiian plate lunches and Vietnamese BBQ.

Wailani was founded by two families—Lan Ha and Ryan Cram, and Tim and Anela Plunkett—who came together with a shared passion for food, culture, and community. What started as a simple idea grew into something much more. Today, Wailani continues to support local community events and fundraisers while serving up the best shave ice, Hawaiian plates, and Vietnamese BBQ around.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We got two small shave ices with vanilla ice cream, one raspberry cream and another peach cobbler! So good, worth the stop! Food looked and smelled great too but we were not ready for a full meal. There are tables outside in a shaded area, a clean cute restroom, and very friendly staff.  Also, lots of people were grabbing fresh fruit and other snack boxes from the grab and go fridge.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I don’t even like shaved ice, but the Ube Creation was awesome! The best sweet treat I’ve had in a long time. We also had a full lunch, trying three different items, all of which were good. Service was fast & friendly, decor was cute. We’ll be back!
