Hawaiian Shave Ice Explained

Unlike crushed ice snow cones, authentic Hawaiian shave ice is finely shaved into a light, fluffy texture that absorbs flavor all the way through. At Wailani Shave Ice in Sutherlin, we serve it over Umpqua Dairy French vanilla ice cream and top it with premium syrups and island-inspired toppings.

Hawaiian & Vietnamese Island Favorites

Wailani Shave Ice & Island Grindz is a fast-casual Hawaiian and Vietnamese restaurant in Sutherlin serving island plate lunches, teriyaki beef, garlic chicken, banh mi sandwiches, vermicelli bowls, and fresh salad rolls. Inspired by the bold street flavors of Hawaii and Vietnam, we bring an Asian island fusion experience to Southern Oregon — dine in or order to-go.

With maybe an exception for the pulled pork, it was pretty mushy when i got it. But it is definitely one of my favorite places and probably my first 5 star review.
